Film faced plywood, also known as formwork plywood, is a special structural panel designed exclusively for concrete construction engineering. It is covered with one or two layers of impregnated thermosetting film paper on the surface after hot pressing, forming a dense, waterproof and wear-resistant protective layer, which solves the problem that ordinary plywood sticks to concrete and is easily damaged during construction.
The surface film is divided into black film, green anti-slip film, brown film and printed grid film. The film paper is soaked with melamine or phenolic resin under high temperature treatment, featuring ultra-smooth flatness, anti-sticking, acid and alkali resistance, and easy demolding without extra release agent. After pouring concrete, the wall surface is flat and smooth, reducing secondary putty polishing cost for construction teams.
We adopt poplar core, poplar-combi mixed core or hardwood birch core according to customer demand. All veneers are cross-laminated by hot pressing, which greatly improves the board’s dimensional stability. The internal glue uses WBP waterproof phenolic glue, fully resistant to rain, wet concrete environment and long-term outdoor construction. It effectively avoids board expansion, delamination, warping and cracking under humid construction conditions.
